Items We Are Not Interested In: The things you couldn’t sell at your garage sale. The kind of stuff that has to be listed as, “Huge lot of stuff! Many boxes full! Bring the U-Haul if you plan to buy this great lot!” and the U-Haul rental was more than what the lot sells for. Things that are not genuine (we do not want reproductions). If you are in doubt, you can contact us prior to bringing it to us. Fox Valley Coins reserves the right to not accept any or all items offered for any of our auctions for any reasons or no reason. Some might be if there are already an overabundance of specific item, questionable origin/authenticity, size especially compared to it’s value, we have had poor results in the past with the items.Other factors may enter in.
Good Things Come In Small Packages: We prefer small items due to our Limited space. Over the past 75 or so auctions, our bidders have come to realize that we specialize in the smaller, yet finer things of collecting. (Like us, I guess our customers are too lazy to be lugging around old bedroom sets.) The only buffet I want to see is the one that has free refills (like our complimentary auction buffets offer).
Firearms (some of our biggest following): Currently we only sell firearms that fall into the following legal parameters: Manufactured prior to 1898 or Black Powder. We do sell certain WWII War Relics, Civil War Relics, American Indian, and Black Americana. We absolutely do not condone any of the atrocities that have occurred in the past relating to these and other sensitive matters. We do include these in part, due to their historic significance, and consequently in many instances they’re highly sought after by the victims of many of these injustices. Fox Valley Coins reserves the right to not accept any or all items offered for any of our auctions for any reasons or no reason. Fox Valley Coin Auctions does not auction: pornographic or potentially offensive materials, Alcohol, Tobacco Products. Fox Valley Coins reserves the right to not accept any or all items offered for any of our auctions for any reasons or no reason.
Fee Schedule: $25 per Lot and 10%. $25 Lot fee is due when you bring the item in.
A “Lot” is an item that is sold that has it’s own Lot Number. Example if you have 10 Hummel figurines and wish to sell them all as 1 Lot, you may. This will cost $25. If however, you wish each one to be sold individually they each will cost $25. As you may have figured, you probably would want to sell the really valuable ones individually to maximize the bidding and group the cheaper ones to bring up the “Per Lot Price”. Of course, you the consignor has final say and we will assist. You will know exactly how your lots will be worded and ‘lotted’ before you pay the Lot Fee and leave them with us. Please check out our Auction Terms and Conditions.
