Absentee Bidding At Fox Valley Coins, Inc.

Absentee Bidding is when someone wants to leave a bid but does not plan to be at the auction as it is taking place. You will need to contact Fox Valley Coins prior to the acution and make sure you have setup your absentee bids in advance. Fox Valley Coins currently has our official absentee bidder's form that can be filled out and used to submit your absentee bids. 10% Buyer’s Premium is added to the hammer price of all successful bids. Please be aware of this before bidding using Proxibid.

After inspecting the item, you will provide Fox Valley Coins a confidential maximum bid that you are willing to go up to. The night of the auction if their bid is the highest absentee bid, we will usually start lower than their maximum amount and start there.

Many patrons have been coming early for lot viewing and then they’ll submit an absentee bid in advance. Fox Valley Coin Auctions, Fox Valley Coins, Inc., owners, employees, auctioneers and clerks can not and will not be held responsible for situations where you do not follow the rules and do not get the item you wanted to secure.

We do not charge additional sales tax. Remember if you want us to ship any items there will be additional shipping and handling charges. If you can pick the items up within 5 working days, there are no additional fees.

Every potential bidder needs to register for a bidder’s card prior to bidding OR Lot Viewing. Needed: Valid Driver’s License or State ID Card and Major Credit Card (Note we do not accept credit cards for payment but we do need it for registration.
