Route 59 just North of I-88.
The Naperville store on Illinois Route 59 usually isn't this crowded.

The photo shows a few of the people who came two hours early on the day of the April coin auction.

Seventy feet of display cases present coins and currencies, enabling customers to identify missing coins for their personal collections.

Notice the adjustable desk lamps that help customers who use magnifying lenses to estimate coin values.

Refreshments abound at the various tables.
Inside the Naperville Coin Store
Approximately one half of the display-case area can be seen here.

"Deuce," a high school work-study student is behind the counter.

Every day people bring in bags and suitcases full of family coin collections.

Some people stay for hours going through thousands of quarters or nickels that the store maintains for those who seek to fill missing gaps in their collections.

Notice the rare currencies framed high on the wall.
Inside the Aurora Coin Store
This is a view of the Fox Valley Coin store in Aurora llinois on Ogden Avenue three miles West of Route 59.[Map - click here.]

Observe the extensive inventory of collector's supplies on the left wall. A full selection of books, coin holders, and reference manuals is maintained in both stores.
Additional display cases in the Naperville store
In the Napervile Store, Kevin Wasmer is behind the counter.

Kevin is one of the professional coin appraisers as well as a collector himself.
Items for sale
Coins in this display case are not for sale in the store.

Each item is labeled with a lot number in readiness for an upcoming auction.

The hand reaching in from the lower right side is a person who asked to preview some of the coins prior to the auction.

Monthly coin auctions attract large audiences.

You can view the most current coin catalog by clicking here. Typically over 800 coin items are offered and sold at these auctions.
